“I was born in 1936 and have a long professional career behind me. Trained at the Hovedskou School of Painting 1955-58 and the Valand School of Art 1959-64.
During my artistic life I have used many different materials and techniques such as oil, watercolor, acrylic and linocut.For the last 30 years I have almost exclusively made collages consisting of acrylic, linocut and pencil drawing in one and the same picture. It is and has been so much fun that I have not wanted to stop.
My imagery comes from my imagination and is like stories or fairy tales. I do the background first, imagining it as a theater stage where the events take place. It is always nature that inspires.
